Creating this album was a real pleasure as Jasmine looks so angellic and adorable. It was a joyous day at Nunsmere Hall with a double celebration of Julia & Bernie’s lovely wedding followed by a baby naming ceremony for Jasmine, their georgous little girl, who behaved impeccably and lapped it all up!

Nunsmere Hall is a wonderful venue with plenty of old character and lovely, extensive  gardens for wedding photography. Without doubt one of my favourite and recommended Cheshire wedding venues.

Heather & Glen – Wedding at West Tower, Aughton – 9th July 2011

Heather & Glen’s wedding was a truly magical day. West Tower in Aughton, Lancs is a fantastic, luxury hilltop country house with stunning views over the surrounding countryside. It’s exclusive, romantic and elegant, no wonder it’s such a sought after wedding venue.

Heather was nice and relaxed whilst getting ready in the lovely 4 poster bridal suite, with champagne of course! Her long bridal gown was gorgeous so every last detail was photographed. The ceremony room was decorated superbly and the wedding was really lovely and very personal.

Afterwards everyone enjoyed the blue sky, sunshine and wonderful views on the lawns outside where we did lots of fun group shots. The kids has a whale of a time! Later we captured some excellent bride & groom portraits including some of them in standing in a field of wheat just across the country lane!

After the meal and some entertaining speeches the evening was rounded off with a with some great music and a lively dancefloor! It was Heather’s sister’s birthday on the same day so another reason to party & celebrate!

Emily and Aiden – Wedding at St Wilfrid’s, Mobberley & The Belmore, Sale

Emily looked a million dollars in her gorgeous wedding dress – wow, what a beautiful bride! She was ready in good time so we managed to shoot some really lovely, relaxed images before I headed off to St Wilfrid’s. The guests congregated at the Church Inn opposite the church and we had some good fun photographing Aiden and his groomsmen, all looking really smart and cool. The vicar was great and the service nice and personal. After the group shots at church the bridal party headed off to Walkden Gardens (Sale) for some more intimate shots before the reception at The Belmore.

Here are some of my favourite images of the day from the 450+ presented to Emily & Aiden, which I hope you’ll enjoy. Congratulations once again to Emily & Aiden and I hope that you had a fabulous honeymoon in Rhodes.

Wedding Album – Ruth & James

Ruth & James – Wedding at Dunham Church & Stanneylands – 4th June

Wow! what a perfect summer’s day Ruth & James had for their wonderful wedding. Ruth looked gorgeous in her dress and just couldn’t stop smiling! St Mark’s Church at Dunham Massey is absolutely beautiful and the service was lovely. Photography is quite restricted in the church though so I had to remain static at the back with my long lens.

After the service everyone enjoyed the sunshine in the lovely church gardens before heading off to Stanneylands, where there was a warm welcome and cold Pimms lined up on the lawn. Stanneylands is a fabulous Cheshire wedding venue with beautiful gardens and a secret, wooded pond area – perfect for those romantic shots! I’ve never seen a bride toss her bouquet quite so high before! The Stanley Suite was decorated beautifully with every attention to detail. Eamon, the manager conducted procedings impeccably well and with a good sense of humour and all the staff at Stanneylands were brilliant. The evening entertainment was provided by an excellent 4 piece pop rock band called Audio Heroes.

It was an absolute pleasure to photograph your special day as you’re such a lovely, young, fun-loving couple, clearly in love and your wedding album should look fabulous. The slideshow below is just a small selection of my personal favourites from over 500 beautiful images presented – enjoy!

Christening – Georgia Lily – 17 April

We had a perfect day for Georgia’s christening with a lovely special service at St Bartholowmew’s Church in Chipping, followed by a celebration and excellent meal at The Gibbon Bridge Hotel. Georgia (8 months) looked absolutely adorable in her christening dress and I’m really proud that she’s in the family (my nephew & wife’s baby). Brett & Rachel had their wedding at the same church & hotel venue so it was appropriate and great to go back there for the christening of their beautiful baby. The Gibbon Bridge Hotel, Chipping is fantastic inside and in an idyllic setting with wonderful, well kept gardens and lots of lovely features, perfect for weddings and events, a dream venue for photography. Here’s a slideshow of some of my favourite images:

Ruth and James – Engagement Shoot – 16 April

It was my great pleasure to do an engagement shoot for Ruth & James who are getting married in June. We chose the wonderful gardens at Dunham Massey, which is a very special place indeed as that’s where James proposed to Ruth. We had a fun, relaxed shoot in the warm spring sunshine and it was  brilliant to capture such a lovely, good looking, young couple, very much in love. I can’t wait to photograph your wedding now!
